Every project is different: span, post layout, louver direction, color. There’s no catalog SKU to click.
So most manufacturer sites end at a quote request form. The customer leaves without seeing anything, and someone on your team spends 40 minutes turning a phone call into a drawing.
What the configurator does
The customer sets real parameters — dimensions, post layout, louver orientation, profiles, finish — and gets a 3D model of their own structure.
Behind it, the engine produces:
- post and beam schedule with profile sizes
- louver blade count and cut lengths
- perimeter gutter runs
- a complete component list you can price against
Geometry is generated server-side. Your product rules, spans, and constructive logic don’t ship to the browser.
Why this is not a template widget
The demo shows one product configuration. In production the engine is built around your system:
- your profiles, spans, and structural limits
- your louver system and blade geometry
- your finish and color options
- your material codes in the output spec

Is this the actual product?
This is a demo build. Production configurators are set up around your product line.
Does the configurator work in feet and inches or in metric?
Both — natively, not as a conversion layer on top of a metric core.
In the imperial build you enter feet and inches, steps snap to fractions a builder actually uses, and the component list is generated against North American stock sizes. In the metric build everything runs in millimetres against European profile ranges and stock lengths.
That matters because a structure isn’t scaled between systems — it’s rebuilt. Post spacing, spans, louver counts and cut lengths resolve differently depending on the material you can actually buy. A configurator that converts at the last second gives numbers that look right and cut wrong.
Can it use our profiles and spans?
Yes — that’s the point. The demo runs on generic parameters; a production version encodes your constructive rules.
How is it embedded?
A single iframe or script tag on your existing site. No CMS migration.
Does it output prices?
It outputs a component spec. Pricing can be connected to your material and labor costs.
Can customers download the model?
Yes, as .gltf — viewable in Blender, Sketchfab, or AR on mobile.
How long does setup take?
